We at the Adelphi Hotel, are committed to servicing the well being of our guests and staff as our first priority. We are dedicated to doing everything within the realm of possibility, to insure their health and safety. Continuously, we are closely monitoring new developments regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus) through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO) and the local health departments. Our company is always ready and responds quickly to meet the changing demands of this unprecedented situation.

Our impeccable standards of sanitation and health safety remain at the highest level in the industry and far exceed The New York State Health Department standards and added practices in consideration of the Coronavirus.

Our lovely hotel along with our Morrisseys Lounge and Bistro and Salt & Char restaurants remain open at this time and we are operating in a responsible manner. Our practices include and are not limited to:

–  Elevated cleaning measures throughout the hotel and restaurants.
–  Extra disinfectant in high-touch areas of the room and throughout the hotel
using Purell Professional Disinfectant which kills Human Coronavirus in 60 seconds.
–   QR codes used for menu viewing

Restaurants, Lounge & Bar

  1. Seating plans accommodate CDC guidance on social distancing
  2. All Culinary staff wear PPE
  3. Disinfecting of all high touchpoints throughout the day
  4. UV light disinfecting application for all menus between use and QR coded menus provided

Private Events & Spaces

  1. Our floor plans comply with current social distancing guidelines

Staff Safety

  1. Each employee’s temperature is taken upon entering the hotel
  2. Each employee is provided PPE daily at the start of their workday
  3. Our team adheres to appropriate social distancing in the workplace
  4. All areas in the “back of the house” are sanitized throughout the day
  5. All employees are offered paid sick leave and mandated to stay home if they are not feeling well
  6. All employees are provided training of all CDC guided cleaning/sanitizing processes
